Extreme switch doesn’t exists reset button. We will reset manualy on console connection.

1. Connect Serial Console on PC (serial speed default : 9600 )
2. Poweroff Extreme Switch
3. Wait 30-40 seconds and Power On
4. You will show “Press and hold spacebar to enter BootStrap mode“
5. Hold Enter button you will showing text on screen “BootRom>“
6. You can write this

BootRom>config none

BootRom>boot

Successfully Reset Password. And booting OS.

You can admin login below information. Note:Password is empty

password :

You should change password. !!

For admin account :

x620# configure account "admin"
Password
Repeat Password

For user account :

x620# configure account "user"
Password
Repeat Password

x620# save

then save configuration. Finish process.
